About us
quienmellama.net is a free service that helps people find out who is calling them from an unknown number before they answer or call back. We cover 24 countries in Spanish and English.
Why we exist
Unknown calls are a daily problem: sales calls that never stop, collection agencies, and scams that use fear or urgency to get money or codes. A quick search, with what other people have already experienced with that number, is often enough to decide whether to answer.
Where the information comes from
- Comments from users who received a call from the number and share what happened. We review comments and remove personal data.
- Public numbering plans published by each country's regulator: area codes, mobile ranges and special numbers.
- Official numbers that companies and public bodies publish on their own websites, so you can tell a real call from an impersonation.
We do not sell phone numbers or personal data, and we do not publish who owns a private line unless the owner chooses to claim it.
How we moderate
We review reported comments and remove insults, personal data and accusations without basis. If a number is yours, you can ask for it to be removed or claim it to add your own explanation.
Independence
We are not affiliated with any phone carrier, bank or government agency. Brand names appear only to identify their official numbers. The site is funded by advertising, which never influences what users report.
