How to report unwanted calls and phone scams in Colombia

How to report calls in Colombia

Unwanted marketing and fraud are reported to different places. This guide tells you where to go in Colombia and what to send so your report is useful.

Where to report

CRC – Registro de Números Excluidos

Register your number in the Excluded Numbers Registry (RNE) of the Communications Regulation Commission to stop commercial calls and messages.

crcom.gov.co

CAI Virtual – Policía Nacional

Report phone scams and fraud at the Police's CAI Virtual. In an emergency call 123.

caivirtual.policia.gov.co

Evidence to keep

The full number that called you, with date and time (a screenshot of your call log).
The company name, if they gave one, and what they offered or asked for.
Screenshots of SMS or WhatsApp messages and, if possible, a recording.
If you paid: receipts, account numbers and transfer details.

Warn others here

Search the number on this site and leave a comment explaining what happened. It does not replace an official report, but it warns other people right away.
